Elijah Moore's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Elijah Moore for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4/Low-end FLEX
ANALYSIS: While veteran Joe Flacco has revitalized the Browns passing game a bit, Elijah Moore appeared to be the clear second option at receiver behind Amari Cooper once Cooper returned from concussion protocol. Moore’s snap count wasn’t far from Cooper’s last week (Cooper had 64 to Moore’s 53), but Amari had 14 targets, and Moore only saw 6. When Cleveland’s offense clicks, Moore has been productive even as the WR2, averaging seven targets per game this year.
The Bears are in the mid-range of the league for defenses against wide receivers this season, so Moore should see his usual production. While he has been disappointing this season, he could still be a FLEX play in PPR in deeper leagues as he has seen 10+ fantasy points in 3 of the past five weeks.
If Moore can capitalize on his targets and Flacco spreads the ball more this week, we could see him reach that mark again. Moore is currently the 52nd wide receiver in PPR this season, so he is right out of the low-end WR4 range, but with so many injuries throughout fantasy, he is on the safer end for a desperation play.
So, should you start Moore this week? If you have better options, no. However, in deeper leagues, if you have some injuries to your starters, he should be able to provide an excellent relief option.
