Jordan Addison's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 14 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jordan Addison for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is set to return from his hamstring injury on Sunday, ending a seven-game absence for the star wideout. His return will likely impact the role of rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison, who slides down to the WR4 tier with Jefferson back.
Addison averaged 7.7 targets, 5.0 receptions, and 62.4 receiving yards per game during the seven-game absence from Jefferson, while he averaged 5,8 targets, 3.8 receptions, and 49.8 receiving yards per game with Jefferson in the lineup.
One thing that really introduces some volatility in this week's action? This is Jefferson's first game with Joshua Dobbs at QB, as Kirk Cousins was still healthy when Jefferson last played. It's possible that Dobbs still ends up targeting Addison a lot, especially after Addison tied a season-high with 10 targets last week.
While he should still have a decent role and is worth playing in 12-team PPR leagues, Addison's overall fantasy ceiling and floor are both lower now with Jefferson back on the field. Fantasy managers should temper expectations about Addison this weekend, but he can still be in your starting lineup in some formats.
