Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was a generational talent when he came into the NFL as the number one pick of the 2022 draft.
He showed off his elite skills during the second half of last season when he led the Jaguars to their first playoff appearance since 2017, and he has put the team in position to repeat, which would be only the second time in team history to make the playoffs two straight seasons.

Trevor Lawrence Injury Update for Fantasy Football - December 6
Trevor Lawrence has a high ankle sprain, but he has not yet been ruled out of Week 14.
The injury does not require surgery, which is a positive sign for the Jaguars. Lawrence will likely be back this season even if he isn't available for the team's Week 14 game against the 7-5 Cleveland Browns.
The Jaguars are leading the AFC South at 8-4, but the Colts and Texans are just one game back, both standing at 7-5. Jacksonville would like to maintain the division lead because if they fall to seven wins, then they are in a dogfight with four other AFC wild-card contenders that also have seven wins.
If Lawrence misses Week 14, as should be expected, then C.J. Beathard will start. Beathard went 9-for-10 for 63 yards in the fourth quarter and overtime against the Cincinnati Bengals. But his career stats are worse: he has only completed 59.5% of his pass attempts for 18 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Trevor Lawrence Fantasy Football Outlook
Lawrence has been underwhelming compared to preseason rankings. He was drafted as the QB8 in NFC drafts, and in some August drafts he was drafted as the No. 8 overall!
Now he ranks as the QB13 and the No. 15 overall scorer. He's been on a hot streak lately; he has scored over 25 points in each of the past three games. He finished as the QB1 in Week 11 and the QB5 in Week 13. But he's also had some duds. He scored 4.1 points in Week 10, good for QB29.
Overall, Lawrence has finished as a top-12 QB seven times in his twelve games, so he is still a start-worthy fantasy passer. But he isn't helping you win your league. That means you should probably still start him if you haven't already added a waiver wire steal like C.J. Stroud.
Lawrence will likely miss Week 14, but Week 14 against the Browns wasn't a good time to start him anyway. The Browns' defense has only allowed an average of 153.4 yards per game, by far the fewest in the league.
In Week 15, Lawrence doesn't have a good matchup either, against the Baltimore Ravens, who are allowing the second-fewest passing yards per game. But if you made the fantasy playoffs and hold onto Week 16, that would be a good time to start him against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Bucs have allowed a 65.4% completion percentage (the 15th-highest), 257.9 passing yards per game (the fifth-most), and 7.1 yards per attempt (the sixth-most).
