NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Vikings vs. Broncos SNF Showdown

Jerry Jeudy - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, Draft Sleepers

John's top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Vikings vs. Broncos DFS showdown slate on 11/19. His Sunday Night Football daily fantasy football advice.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We have an interesting matchup tonight as it'll be Joshua Dobbs and the new-look Minnesota Vikings (6-4) heading west to take on one of the hottest teams in the NFL, Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos (4-5), who look to win their fourth straight.

We've been pretty successful over the past few seasons with these showdown slates and hopefully, that trend continues from last year into this year. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around. Thanks to the advanced analytics of today, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups and the like to help put some lunch money in your pocket. Let's make some coin this season gang, and let's get right to it.

I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Vikings vs. Broncos Sunday Night NFL DFS showdown slate on November 19. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. MVP/Captain Plays

Joshua Dobbs- QB, $15,900 (DK), $15,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 1,995 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, five interceptions, 62 rushing attempts, 368 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns, and six fumbles lost.
  • Projected Pass DVOA: 39.56%

I'll start things off with Joshua Dobbs. What a story Dobbs has been, now taking care of business for Minnesota. In two games, he's completed 67.2% of his passes for 426 yards and three touchdowns. He's also added 110 yards on 15 rushing attempts and two touchdowns with his legs. He did lose two fumbles in his first appearance as a Viking but pitched nearly a perfect game last week against the Saints. He projects to 234.67 passing yards, 1.65 touchdowns, and 1.08 interceptions tonight. He also projects to add 20.09 yards and 0.20 touchdowns on the ground.

Javonte Williams - RB, $13,200 (DK), $13,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 111 rushing attempts, 436 rushing yards, 26 targets, 21 catches, 109 receiving yards, two touchdowns.
  • Projected Rush DVOA: -13.56%

I'll take a look at Javonte Williams next. Williams had himself a monster game on Monday night, carrying the ball 21 times for 79 yards while catching four passes for 31 yards, as well as scoring a touchdown. Tonight, he projects to tote the ball 17 times for 61.12 yards on the ground while catching 2.46 of 3.41 targets for 15.86 yards. He projects to 0.46 touchdowns against a Vikings defense that can do a decent enough job of stopping the run, but I think he'll get his work in through the passing game.

Other Captains/MVPs: T.J. Hockenson, Alexander Mattison, Jordan Addison, Russell Wilson

DFS Flex Plays

T.J. Hockenson - TE, $9,400 (DK), $12,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 95 targets, 71 receptions, 681 receiving yards, four touchdowns.
  • Opponent DVOA vs. TE: 15.68%

I'll take a look at T.J. Hockenson next. Hockenson could be a good 1.5x play in this spot as well, as I actually have him projected as my number two 1.5x option on this slate. He projects to 6.03 receptions on 7.43 targets for 67.4 yards and 0.53 touchdowns. He's projected to have a monster game, and rightfully so against this Broncos defense that ranks in 26th in DVOA against TEs and in the bottom 10 in all receiving categories against tight ends.

Jerry Jeudy - WR, $7,800 (DK), $9,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 43 targets, 30 receptions, 371 receiving yards, one touchdown.
  • Opponent DVOA vs WR2: 22.09%

I'll take a look at a pass-catcher on the other side of the field here in Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy projects to 3.96 receptions on 5.71 targets for 47.61 yards and 0.31 touchdowns. While I suppose Jeudy is the number two option in the Broncos' pass game, this actually benefits him, as shown by the DVOA against WR2s on Minnesota's side. They also rank very poorly against receivers that line up on the right side of the formation, where Jeudy lines up 63.6% of the time. He's certainly worth a chance in this one.

Other Flex Options: Jordan Addison, Russell Wilson, Alexander Mattison

DFS Value Plays

Minnesota Vikings - D/ST, $4,600 (DK), $9,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 20.1 points per game allowed, 27 sacks, nine interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and two touchdowns.

As far as value plays go, I'll take a look at the Vikings defense. Look, the Broncos have played well recently, but a lot of that is due to their defense. Through nine games, they've put up 30 or more points in just three of those games this season. The Vikings project a 24.75% pressure rate and a 10.94% sack rate in this one. I think they press the issue on Russell Wilson, forcing him to make mistakes and take care of business on the defensive side of the ball.

Greg Joseph - K, $5,200 (DK), $8,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 15 field goals made, 20 field goals attempted, 24/26 extra points made/attempted.

As mentioned when discussing the Vikings' defense, the Broncos have played very well on the defensive side of the ball as well. With this said, Joshua Dobbs has made the Vikings offense a force to be reckoned with over the last two weeks. With that said, we've hit a proverbial "mesh point" here. Assuming Dobbs and the Vikings' offense can prevent turning the ball over, I can see them stalling out a few times on the Denver side of the field, making this a solid opportunity for Joseph to knock back a few field goals.

Other Value Options: Samaje Perine, Wil Lutz

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and good luck everyone!
