Jaylen Brown, 22.5 Points (LOWER)
Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown is averaging 22.9 points per game this season, down from his 2022 season when he averaged 26.6 per game. Adding Kristaps Porzingis to the Celtics starting lineup has made Brown an even more inconsistent producer of points. After scoring 22 or more points in three straight games, it seems Brown is due for a down game against the 76ers.
Dennis Schroder, 21.5 Points + Assists (LOWER)
Toronto Raptors guard Dennis Schroder was hitting over 22 points and assists on a near-nightly basis in the season's early games. Despite averaging a career-high 7.7 assists, Schroder has failed to eclipse seven assists in his last four games. The Raptors guard has also had difficulty getting his shots to fall, scoring 14 or fewer points in three of his previous five contests.
Bradley Beal, 18.5 Points (LOWER)
Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal has played three games this season, averaging 17.3 points per game in that span. This game against the Minnesota Timberwolves will be the first game that the Suns' big three play together, and I expect Beal to take a backseat in the scoring department. In his last season with the Washington Wizards, Beal averaged 5.4 assists per game and could act as more of a distributor with elite scoring around him.
Trae Young, 2.5 3-Pointers Made (HIGHER)
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young was off to a rocky start this season, but he has shown signs of turning it around. In his last two games, Young has scored over 27 and 41 points while sinking over three three-pointers in both contests. Despite his poor shooting percentages to start the year, the Hawks guard has attempted at least nine three-pointers in his last two games, which should be more than enough for him to make three.
Anthony Edwards, 10.0 Rebounds + Assists (HIGHER)
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards appears to have taken another step in his development. Edwards is averaging 27.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game this season. Taking on the Phoenix Suns, the Wolves guard must make plays for others because he may need help to take down the Suns trio. Edwards had over 10 rebounds and assists in five of his last six games.
Jerami Grant, 23.5 Points (HIGHER)
Portland Trailblazers forward Jerami Grant has become the team's top offensive option after injuries to Anfernee Simons and Scoot Henderson. Thankfully for the Blazers, all Grant cares about is scoring, and he has been putting up numbers. Grant has scored at least 22 points in his last seven games and will need to keep up that pace if the Blazers want to compete with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
