Should I Start Jahmyr Gibbs for Fantasy Football?

With David Montgomery ruled out for Monday's game against the Raiders, Detroit Lions rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs becomes a top-10 play at the running back position.

Gibbs had 11 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown last week against the Ravens while also catching nine of his 10 targets for 58 yards. He should see close to 20 touches again this week. He's a clear RB1 play.

He is the RB11 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.

Should I Start Kareem Hunt for Fantasy Football?

Kareem Hunt's upside this week is going to depend on how healthy starting running back Jerome Ford is. That's a pretty big question mark. Ford sprained his ankle last week but had a good week of practice. He's pushing to play, but the Browns want to test him pregame.

If Ford plays, Hunt is an RB3 play, but if Ford is scratched before kickoff, his value jumps closer to the RB2 tier. Regardless, fantasy managers should temper expectations with Hunt.

He is the RB30 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.

Should I Start Gus Edwards for Fantasy Football?

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards had 144 scrimmage yards last week against the Lions, but 80 of those yards came on one reception.

Edwards doesn't usually have a lot of receiving yards, as he had just 19 on the season before last week. However, fantasy managers should expect around 15 carries for Edwards, putting him firmly in the RB2 tier because of volume.

He is the RB19 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
