Deshaun Watson Injury Update

According to Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, quarterback Deshaun Watson (head) cleared concussion protocol, meaning he could have returned to Sunday's narrow win over the Colts. However, Stefanski added he opted to keep Watson out of the game in an effort to protect the "franchise quarterback."

Nevertheless, Stefanski expects the signal-caller to practice throughout the week and play in the Browns' upcoming matchup versus the Seattle Seahawks. But if Watson can't suit up for whatever reason, P.J. Walker, who went 15-for-32 for 178 yards and an interception, would presumably be under center.

Bijan Robinson Injury Update

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson (illness) informed reporters after Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that he was limited due to a headache. The rookie began experiencing symptoms on Saturday night, which ultimately restricted him to just one carry for three yards in Week 7. Although Robinson wanted to play more than he did, head coach Arthur Smith played it safe by relying on Cordarrelle Patterson and Tyler Allgeier for most of the contest.

Robinson is expected to suit up in Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans. However, fantasy managers hope this isn't more than a one-time occurrence. But to be safe, Allgeier and Patterson should be scooped off of waivers if they are available, especially since Robinson could suffer a setback during the week.

Jerome Ford Injury Update

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford (ankle) finished Sunday's narrow win over the Colts by amassing 74 yards and a touchdown off 11 carries. He added two catches (four targets) for 20 yards. The 24-year-old ran the ball well on Sunday, accruing a season-high 6.7 yards per carry. However, Ford ultimately sustained a right ankle injury, with The Athletic's Zac Jackson reporting the 2022 fifth-round pick left the stadium in a walking boot.

Cleveland can't afford any more injuries in the backfield, considering Kareem Hunt (thigh) was questionable entering Week 7. Nonetheless, Ford will likely appear on the injury report ahead of the team's meeting with Seattle. But there's a chance Pierre Strong Jr., who had eight carries for 25 yards, may get some work in Week 8.

Gerald Everett Injury Update

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (quad) scored a touchdown in a Week 7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Everett was targeted four times, making three catches for 26 yards and a touchdown. Everett's touchdown came from seven yards out in the second quarter and was the only passing touchdown in the game.

He was forced to leave the game with a quad injury and was listed as questionable to return. He should be ready for Week 8 against the Bears, but his practice status will be something to keep an eye on throughout the week.

Luke Musgrave Injury Update

Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) was seen leaving the locker room with a walking boot on his left foot. The rookie was forced to leave their game against the Denver Broncos with an ankle issue after he gathered 30 yards on four catches.

After the disappointing loss to the Broncos, the last thing they needed was an injury. He'll likely appear on the injury report ahead of their Week 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings, so fantasy managers will want to stay tuned for more updates throughout the week.
