Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks For Fantasy Football Week 6: Calvin Ridley, Nico Collins, Brian Robinson Jr.

Nico Collins - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Should I start Calvin Ridley, Nico Collins, Brian Robinson Jr. for Week 6? Fantasy football start em, sit em picks and recommendations for the 2023 NFL season.

The bulk of the Week 6 NFL slate is nearly here, meaning fantasy players must make some last-minute start ‘em and sit ‘em decisions. Calvin Ridley, Nico Collins, and Brian Robinson Jr. have been productive for fantasy players in 2023.

Ridley faces the Indianapolis Colts for the second time over the first six weeks. Meanwhile, Collins takes on a challenging New Orleans Saints secondary. Lastly, Robinson will have his hands full against an impressive Atlanta Falcons defense.

Which of these players should fantasy players start in Week 6? Let’s dive into it!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Should I Start Calvin Ridley For Fantasy Football?

The former Alabama star has been hit or miss this season. Ridley is the WR20, averaging 11.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran has 22 receptions on 36 targets for 333 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including one in Week 1 against the Colts.

Unfortunately, Ridley has been inconsistent for fantasy players. He scored 20.1 fantasy points in Week 1 and 17.1 last week. However, he had only 20.5 fantasy points in the other three games. Thankfully, his matchup in Week 6 is fantasy-friendly.

Indianapolis has surrendered 31.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the ninth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, they have given up five receiving touchdowns to the position, including two in Week 1 against the Jaguars. Ridley is a top-20 wide receiver with upside this week.

Should I Start Nico Collins For Fantasy Football?

Collins was a popular preseason breakout candidate. The third-year wide receiver has played with awful quarterbacks during his NFL career until this season. With C.J. Stroud under center, the former Michigan star has been one of the top wide receivers in 2023. He has caught 25 of 36 targets for 437 receiving yards and three touchdowns this year.

More importantly, Collins’ play has turned into a top-tier fantasy option. The former Michigan star is the WR11 for the year, averaging 15.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He has at least 145 receiving yards and 24 fantasy points in 40% of the contest this season.

However, the young receiver has a tough matchup against the Saints in Week 6. New Orleans has held wide receivers to only 26.7 fantasy points per game, the 11th-fewest in the NFL. Collins will face off against elite cornerback Marshon Lattimore often in this game. The former Michigan star is a low-end WR2 with boom-or-bust potential.

Should I Start Brian Robinson Jr. For Fantasy Football?

Washington has a talented 1-2 punch at running back. However, Robinson has been the lead running back for most of the year. The second-year player has 67 rushing attempts for 271 yards and three touchdowns this season. He also has nine receptions for 88 receiving yards and a touchdown over the first five weeks.

The former Alabama star is the RB12, averaging 13.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game this year. Robinson was outstanding over the first two weeks, totaling 41 fantasy points. However, he has struggled during the team’s three-game losing streak, averaging only 8.5 fantasy points per contest.

Unfortunately, the second-year running back faces a crushing Atlanta defense this week. The Falcons have held running backs to zero rushing touchdowns and only 11 fantasy points per game this season, the third-fewest in the NFL. Robinson is a risky low-end RB2 with limited upside in Week 6.
