Kenta Maeda Expected Back This Week
Kenta Maeda (triceps) is expected to rejoin the club later this week after pitching in his final rehab start on Friday, according to MLB.com. The 35-year-old has been on the injured list since April 29 after suffering a right-triceps strain during his start on April 26. Before going down, Maeda pitched to a 9.00 ERA and 1.63 WHIP with 14 punchouts over 16 innings. Fantasy managers can expect better numbers from the former Cy Young candidate going forward, and he should be on a roster in every format.
