Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/7/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.
We have a dozen games on the docket for tonight. Well, we did until Covid caused the postponement of the Minnesota game in Champaign. The early birds feature Rutgers in Assembly Hall to take on the Hoosiers and Marquette heads to Hartford to take on UConn. The customary 7 pm tips take Ole Miss to Athens to take on the Bulldogs. Auburn heads to College Station to take on the Aggies. The Heels heads over to Winston-Salem to take on the Deacons. Cincinnati heads to N'awlins to take on the Wave.
A half-hour later we have St. John's in Indy to take on Butler. We end it out with four 9 pm tips. Arkansas heads into Rupp to take on Kentucky. Maryland heads to East Lansing to take on Sparty. The Pack heads to Charlottesville to take on the Hoos. We end it with a purple showdown in the Little Apple between TCU and Kansas State. This is going to be a good one!

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Landers Nolley, Cincinnati ($8,400)
Nolley has only been under 38 DraftKings points once in the last six games, and he still hit 32 in that game. He has only been under 25 DraftKings points once in the last two months (in the first Houston game). Nolley exorcised those Houston demons and has been lighting up everyone for most of the last eight weeks.
Jalen Cook, Tulane ($7,600)
Cook is cooking with gas right now. He has at least 20 actual points in four straight games and hasn't been under 30 DraftKings points in an entire calendar month. Cook went cold from the field in the first meeting with Cincinnati, but he has been putting up far better peripheral numbers of late. If he has kept it up for an entire month, I don't see why that stops here.
Shahada Wells, TCU ($6,700)
DK isn't asleep at the wheel this time. The days of getting the big discount on Wells are over, but I'm not convinced that we should stop playing him. Mike Mills is still out, and with it is a whole bunch of production. Wells has filled that void nicely, racking up 63 points in the last five games. He's getting good assist numbers, playing good defense, and has even proven to be a capable rebounder. I trust Wells at this price as long as he's starting.
Chase Ross, Marquette($3,800)
Ross isn't starting, but he is scoring very well with the second unit. He provides a big boost off the bench for Marquette, notching double digits in DraftKings points in four of the last five games. That has resulted in a slight increase in minutes without the increase in price. He's one of the safer plays out there and has pretty good upside if you're scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Also consider: Tyree Appleby, Wake Forest ($8,800); Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($8,300); Damion Baugh, TCU ($7,600); David DeJulius, Cincinnati ($7,400); A.J. Storr, St. John's ($5,800); TJ Caldwell, Mississippi ($4,500); Mardrez McBride, Georgia ($4,300); Rob Phinisee, Cincinnati ($3,300)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($11,200)
Since college basketball still has some shreds of dignity left, TJD still has a shot at the Naismith Award, given to the most outstanding college player. Even though the Hoosiers likely won't win their own conference, TJD is carrying the team and everyone knows it. He has at least 45 DraftKings points in each of his last seven games and in eight of the last ten. He has the highest floor and highest ceiling on the slate. Just play him!
Kevin Cross, Tulane ($8,100)
Forward is stacked tonight. If you're willing to deal with a little lower floor, we may have something in Cross. He racked up 39.5 DraftKings points on the Bearcats the first time around and has been over 30 DraftKings points in all but three games since Christmas with none coming in below the 20-point mark. Cincinnati and Tulane combined for 165 points in the first meeting. There could be a lot of fantasy goodness in this game.
Jacob Toppin, Kentucky ($7,700)
Toppin is Tshiebwe lite, but in price only. Toppin scored within ten DraftKings points of Oscar in all but two January games and outscored him entirely in the first February contest. There is absolutely no way I would pay for Tshiebwe right now. Not when Toppin is putting up numbers that arm comparable at $2500 less. You can do a lot with that extra cash!
Tylan Pope, Tulane ($4,800)
Pope technically isn't starting, but he has played at least 27 minutes in four straight games, racking up 110 DraftKings points in the process. Find another guy at this price on this slate that can come anywhere close to that kind of production.
