DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Friday 10/14 - Week 7 Daily College Fantasy Football

Rashee Rice - CFB DFS Lineup Picks, Daily College Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Draft

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Friday Week 7 (10/14/22). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We have another lighter Friday night, but as is the usual this time of year, they are both conference tilts. We don't have the names of the Big Ten(14) on this one, but we do have two polar opposites in Navy and SMU under the lights at Gerald Ford Field in Dallas.

The later game features one of my personal favorites in UTSA heading to Miami. No, not to take on the Hurricanes (I wish). They take on Florida International, which is the third-largest university in Florida, but might be the worst team in FBS. We're going to have to get a little different on this one.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/14/22 locking at 7:30 pm eastern time. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Frank Harris, UTSA ($6,800)

This has blowout written all over it, and I wouldn't be all that surprised if the Roadrunners treat their stars with kid gloves. Yes, it's a conference game, but FIU is a total disaster right now. Harris is capable of putting up huge numbers on the ground and through the air, but I will be surprised if UTSA calls any quarterback run plays in this one. Harris is instrumental for them to achieve their goal of a Fun Belt Championship, so temper expectations here. He should still throw for 300+ yards though and a couple of touchdowns. That's good for the price point.

Tai Lavatai, Navy ($5,400)

Lavatai isn't much of a passer, but he does have some rushing upside. He has topped 100 passing yards in three games and hit 99 one other time, so we'll call last week's nine-yard output the outlier. However, that was Navy's best game of the season, so we may see Lavatai running more and passing less. He's cheaper than most running backs though, so I'm okay with that.

Also consider: Tanner Mordecai, SMU ($7,900); Grayson James, Florida International ($6,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Brenden Brady, UTSA ($6,000)

Trelon Smith keeps stealing carries, but I could see both being very successful in this game. I will use whichever one fits my budget. Brady is a better receiver that Smith, so he gets a little more work in the regular flow of the offense. The Roadrunners are favored by 34 points though, so I'll be shocked if Brady plays more than three quarters of this game. We could see a situation where Smith gets more carries if this turns into a blowout.

Daba Fofana, Navy ($4,100)

Fofana has always been a part of the Navy run game, but he exploded last week against Tulsa. He'll have room to run against SMU. I don't think we can count on him for three touchdowns again, but the 159 yards might be repeatable. Navy uses several backs, so there's no guarantee for any of them. Fofana has had double-digit carries in all but one game so far. Terrell and Hall can't say that.

Also consider: Tre Siggers, SMU ($5,800); Lexington Joseph, Florida International ($4,900)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Rashee Rice, SMU ($8,500)

Even though Navy blew out Tulsa last week, leading receiver Keylon Stokes was still able to have a big game for the Golden Hurricane. No matter what happens with the game, I expect big numbers for Rice. SMU likes to throw the ball a lot whether they are ahead or behind. It doesn't really matter to them. Rice has at least 120 receiving yards in four of the five games with at least nine receptions in those games. The only team to kind of hold him was TCU, and Rice still had 19.4 DraftKings points in that game. He's the must-play on this slate.

De'Corian Clark, UTSA ($7,100)

Franklin is the volume guy and old reliable among the UTSA receiving corps. Teams have started to cover up on Franklin more, leaving more room for Clark and Cephus. Honestly, anyone in a UTSA uniform is in play here, but I like Clark and the big-play ability. UTSA's only blowout win so far was against Texas Southern. Clark wound up with 51.7 DraftKings points in that one. He should get more work than Franklin in another blowout.

Moochie Dixon, SMU ($3,900)

The receivers behind Rice are a bit of a mess right now. Jake Bailey is possibly out for the year. Roderick Daniels sat out last week to enter the transfer portal but was spotted in practice earlier this week. Jordan Kerley was out last week and hasn't played since Week 3 even though he has no official injury designation. That would leave Dixon as the de-facto number 2 receiver, but who knows? Daniels and/or Kerley could play and mess this whole thing up. However, Dixon is cheap and considering the number of multiple wideout sets that SMU runs, he should still be able to give us some value.

Also consider: Zakhari Franklin, UTSA ($7,600); Joshua Cephus, UTSA ($6,800); Jalen Bracey, Florida International ($4,100); Jayden Umbarger, Navy ($3,300)
