Trevor Lawrence Totals 279 Yards In Week 1 Loss
Trevor Lawrence completed 24 of his 42 pass attempts for 275 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, along with four rushing yards on two carries. The second-year quarterback out of Clemson got off to a slow start in the game, but he found his rhythm in the second half as the Jaguars erased a 14-3 deficit to begin the game. Jacksonville would have an opportunity to win the game with time running down, only for Lawrence to throw a game-sealing interception to give Washington Commanders the victory. Even with the late-game interception, the 22-year-old quarterback took a step in the right direction in his development and he should be a solid contributor in fantasy as he continues to grow comfortable in a new offense.
