WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks, Betting Picks (7/12/22): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel, Best Bets

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks and betting picks for 7/12/22. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings and FanDuel and today's best bets.

The WNBA is back! After taking some time off for the All-Star break, 10 teams are in action on Tuesday. The Wings/Storm game takes place during the day and isn't included on the main slate, but the other four games are, so let's talk about DFS lineups.

I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and, because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/12/22. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 7/12/2022 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Alysha Clark (Washington Mystics) - @ LA - DK: @7,700; FD: $6,500

Clark has scored in double figures in three of the last five games, including putting up 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting against Vegas on June 25. Clark has been a crucial piece for this Mystics team and has seen her offensive role increase as the season has gone along. She's also always a threat to add steals to the score sheet.

Monique Billings (Atlanta Dream) - @ CHI - DK: @7,600; FD: $5,900

Billings really stepped up over the last couple of games before the All-Star break, including playing arguably her best game of the season against Washington, with 10 points on 4-for-6 shooting with nine rebounds, four assists and two steals. Atlanta is a young team and while Billings is only 26, she's basically a veteran on this team. Expect Atlanta to lean on her more in the second half as the team tries to hold on to a playoff spot.

Damiris Dantas (Minnesota Lynx) - vs PHO - DK: @5,600; FD: $4,400

There's potentially some good value with Dantas, though she also has a rock-bottom floor. She's scored 20-plus fantasy points in two of her last four games, but she also was held without a point or rebound against the Sky. It's tough to get a read on her usage, as some nights she'll take seven shots and others she'll go 0-for-3. Her ability to connect from deep introduces some additional upside and Phoenix allows the fifth-most threes per game.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty) - vs LV - DK: @11,200; FD: $8,900

After what Ionescu did the last time she faced the Aces, how can you not play her on Tuesday?

Just in case you weren't paying attention, Ionescu tied the WNBA record for career triple-doubles against the Aces, finishing with 31 points on 10-for-13 shooting with 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Vegas just had no answer for the former Oregon star.

She followed that up with 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal against Phoenix and now has 40-plus fantasy points in four of the last five games. Ionescu is playing the best basketball in the league right now.

Skylar Diggins-Smith (Phoenix Mercury) - @ MIN - DK: @10,800; FD: $8,500

Diggins-Smith has been Phoenix's best player by miles this season. Assuming the team doesn't trade her on Tuesday—there have been trade rumors swirling for the last week—then SDS should continue her strong run.

Last time out against the Liberty, she had 13 points, seven rebonds and nine assists. That was her lowest point total since early June, and she still finished with 35 fantasy points because of her ability to get rebounds and assists. She's played well against the Lynx this season.

Sophie Cunningham (Phoenix Mercury) - @ MIN - DK: @7,000; FD: $5,100

Look, as long as Sophie remains a decent value, I'll keep playing her. She's stepped into a larger role after the team waived Tina Charles and she ended the first half of the season with her best game all year, scoring 23 points on 10-for-15 shooting with five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Phoenix needs shooting, and right now, Cunningham is providing the team with that shooting.

WNBA Betting Picks for 7/12/2022

Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.

Yesterday's Results: 1-1

Minnesota Lynx Spread (-5.5)

The Lynx have been playing well, winning three of four to end the first half, which included big wins over the Aces and Sky. Minnesota is finally healthy and looks like a playoff team. Phoenix, meanwhile, looks like a team that's constantly on the verge of just falling apart. The Lynx beat them 84-71 and 100-88 already this season. Take Minnesota again.

Las Vegas Aces Spread (-7)

The last time Vegas and New York played, Sabrina Ionescu had the first 30-point triple-double in league history and Han Xu shot over 90% from the floor. It was essentially a perfect offensive game for the Liberty, and they won by single digits because the defense couldn't stop Vegas. I don't think New York's going to be able to play another perfect offensive game, but I do think New York's defense will allow Vegas to score a ton of points. This one has sneaky blowout potential.
