Tony Pollard, RB, Titans

The Tennessee Titans have reportedly made running back Tony Pollard available in trade discussions after having already dealt away cornerbacks Jason Brownlee and Roger McCreary. The 28-year-old back has been workmanlike in his efforts this year, averaging just under four yards per carry on an offense that's had to fight for every inch.
Pollard's contract runs through the 2026 season, but his dead cap for next year is only $2 million, and with him and 24-year-old Tyjae Spears seeing a near 50/50 split in recent weeks, he is clearly not a part of the Titans' long-term plans. With the NFL trade deadline just over a week away, some teams that have reportedly been in the running back market are the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and New England Patriots.
Verdict: Consider buying low for a potential change in scenery
J.K. Dobbins, RB, Broncos
Trade Value: 33.8

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins finished with his second game this season with over 100 rushing yards in Week 8, totaling 111 rushing yards on 15 carries and adding two catches for 10 yards in the blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Despite having a great day on the ground, the tough news for fantasy managers is that Dobbins' fellow backfield mate, rookie running back RJ Harvey, had a breakout game with two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown.
With Harvey now contributing four touchdowns in the past two weeks combined, Dobbins' fantasy managers are likely to feel robbed of their true potential upside. Dobbins will look to get back in the end zone against a tougher defense in Week 9 at the Houston Texans.
Verdict: Hold. Sell window has likely closed
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Panthers

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan caught seven of his 10 targets for 99 yards during Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Buffalo Bills. The Panthers were blown out by a score of 40-9 as Andy Dalton, who was filling in for Bryce Young (ankle), turned the ball over three times. McMillan was a rare bright spot in the defeat, pacing the team in all major receiving statistics.
He set a new career-high in receptions, scored double-digit fantasy points (PPR) for the sixth time in eight games, and ranks as the overall WR16 so far. Playing in negative game script scenarios bodes well for McMillan, and it appears as though he can produce regardless of whether Young or Dalton is under center. The rookie pass catcher should be viewed as a strong WR2 option heading into Week 9 against Green Bay.
Verdict: Consider buying as a second-half rookie boom performer
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars

According to Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen, the team has "no plans" to trade wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Thomas had a fantastic rookie season in the NFL in 2024 with 87 receptions for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns on 133 targets in 17 games, but so far in 2025, the 23-year-old is in the midst of the dreaded sophomore slump. Coming out of Jacksonville's Week 8 bye, Thomas has 27 catches on 55 targets for 365 yards and only one touchdown in seven games played.
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been spreading the ball around much more through the air to the likes of rookie Travis Hunter, Dyami Brown, and Parker Washington. Thomas is also coming off a shoulder injury that he suffered in the Week 7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in London, but hopefully, he'll be good enough to play in Week 9 in a plus matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Verdict: Look to buy if the current manager is frustrated with the lack of production
