Nico Collins, WR, Texans

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Monday that "we'll see how he progresses this week" when asked about wide receiver Nico Collins' (head) status in the league's concussion protocol. Collins is "doing well and trending toward a return" for a Week 9 contest against the Denver Broncos at this point, a source told Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Sports.
The 26-year-old was unable to practice last week and didn't play in Sunday's win over the visiting San Francisco 49ers, but if he can get back on the field this week, he's trending toward playing this Sunday in a tough matchup against Denver. With fellow wideout Christian Kirk (hamstring) missing a second straight game over the weekend, Xavier Hutchinson led the team in receiving yards, with rookies Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins also seeing expanded workloads.
Collins will be a must-start in Week 9 if he's cleared from the concussion protocol.
Verdict: Buy low from a manager who is near the bottom of the standings and needs immediate production
Ladd McConkey, WR, Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey caught six of his 10 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 8 win over the Minnesota Vikings. McConkey had a relatively underwhelming start to the season, but he seems to have turned a corner with 27 catches and three touchdowns over his last four games.
Since Week 5, he is averaging 18.8 fantasy points per game (PPR), which ranks as the eighth-most among all NFL wide receivers during that span. McConkey's rapport with Justin Herbert continues to solidify, and he should be treated as a low-end fantasy WR1 going forward. He'll face off against the struggling Tennessee Titans in Week 9.
Verdict: Buy for a fair value before McConkey returns to must-start WR1 status
Kayshon Boutte, WR, Patriots
Trade Value: 15.3

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte scored his fourth touchdown in his last three games in Week 8, recording three catches for 75 yards and a score on five targets against the Cleveland Browns. The 23-year-old has now hauled in 23 catches for 431 yards and five touchdowns on 30 targets across eight games so far this season.
Boutte has been a big-play merchant for New England, averaging 18.7 yards per reception. Perhaps most encouraging for his fantasy outlook, Boutte has led Patriots wide receivers in snaps in each of the team's eight games. Boutte's average of 3.8 targets per game leaves something to be desired.
Still, with his explosive play ability and playing time floor, he profiles as a boom/bust deep league flex option and could be a player to target on the waiver wire heading into a Week 9 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.
Verdict: Sell high as his target share is not overly high and could result in bust weeks down the stretch
Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison caught three of his four targets for 26 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 8 loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. Addison's trip to the end zone came on a four-yard reception with fewer than five minutes remaining in the third quarter. '
The touchdown salvaged his fantasy performance and brought him to four consecutive games with double-digit fantasy points (PPR). He's averaging 16.0 fantasy points per game since his season debut in Week 4, which is tied for the 17th-highest average among all NFL receivers during that span. He's a solid low-end WR2 heading into Week 9 against the Detroit Lions.
Verdict: Sell high as Minnesota's QB situation is not overly stable
