Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry has strung together three impressive performances, putting him back in the mix as a fantasy-relevant option for Week 7 against the Chicago Bears. Henry has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games, and he has double-digit fantasy points (PPR) in three consecutive weeks.
The veteran seems to have turned a corner around the same time that quarterback Drake Maye did, although it's worth noting that the 31-year-old tight end is still somewhat touchdown-dependent in fantasy football.
This week's matchup isn't particularly favorable, either, as the Bears have surrendered the third-fewest receptions, 12th-fewest receiving yards, 10th-fewest touchdowns, and 12th-fewest fantasy points to tight ends in 2026. All things considered, Henry enters Thursday Night Football as the overall TE13 in RotoBaller's latest PPR rankings for fantasy football.
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson hauled in two of three targets for 13 yards in the 23-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. After two drops, one resulting in an INT, in Week 5, the Cowboys rotated tight ends more often against the Packers.
Ferguson played a season-low 62% of snaps and ran 55% of routes on Sunday. With Ferguson phased out, Brevyn Spann-Ford played a season-high 46% of snaps and had four receptions on five targets for 35 yards in Week 6.
With wide receivers CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Ryan Flournoy as the top three targets in this offense, there's little room left for Ferguson, who has struggled in 2026. Fantasy managers can safely drop the Cowboys tight end, as there are much better options on the waiver wire.
Isaiah Likely, New York Giants
New York Giants tight end Isaiah Likely is certainly enjoying his first season in the Big Apple in 2026. Likely was a big contributor once again in Sunday's Week 6 loss to the visiting New Orleans Saints, catching six of his 11 targets for 99 yards and one touchdown. The 26-year-old's 11 targets were second to receiver Malik Nabers' 15, and his 99 yards trailed only Nabers as well.
The big game came in a contest in which veteran quarterback Jameis Winston was benched in favor of J.J. McCarthy. Likely's production did not slow after the switch under center, and his touchdown catch came on a 24-yard hookup with McCarthy in the fourth quarter as the Giants tried to make things interesting in an eventual 34-27 loss.
He has been the clear No. 2 target behind Nabers in what has been a pass-happy offense under head coach John Harbaugh. Likely is coming through on his breakout potential in New York, as he is currently the No. 1 overall in half-PPR scoring with 39 catches, 383 yards, and five touchdowns in his first six games played. He should be locked into all starting fantasy lineups for his Week 7 matchup against the Houston Texans.
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs veteran tight end Travis Kelce (ankle) is on the Week 7 injury report with an ankle injury and was listed as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, according to Pete Sweeney of The Kansas City Star.
An ankle injury might explain why Kelce has cooled off a bit in his last two games in wins over the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders, as he has caught six of his nine targets for 68 yards and no touchdowns. The 37-year-old's ankle injury does not appear to be too serious, though, so Kelce should have a good chance to suit up this weekend as the Chiefs look to stay undefeated on the road on Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy managers will want to check back later this week to see if Kelce carries an injury designation into the weekend. The 11-time Pro Bowler and future Hall of Famer should be in play as a TE1 if he is active. Despite his age, Kelce has been a top-10 fantasy tight end through the first six weeks (five games played) with 20 catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns on 27 targets.
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (quadriceps) did not practice on Wednesday due to a quad injury, according to KPRC 2 Sports' Aaron Wilson. Schultz apparently was injured in the Week 6 win over the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday, and his status for the rest of the week must be watched closely.
If the 30-year-old is unable to play this weekend against the visiting New York Giants, Foster Moreau, who came out of nowhere to catch two touchdowns in London, would take on a bigger pass-catching role at the position. It would also make receivers Nico Collins, Jaylin Noel, and newcomer Marvin Harrison Jr. more intriguing in the passing attack. Schultz, 30, caught four of his six targets for 33 yards in the 34-31 win on Sunday.
He blew up for 12 catches on 14 targets for 140 yards in the Sept. 20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but other than that, Schultz has been unable to top 35 receiving yards, and he is still searching for his first touchdown of the year. Noel's emergence and the addition of Harrison to the WR room do not help Schultz's cause going forward, and neither will the return of Tank Dell (knee) from Injured Reserve.
