Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore Ravens veteran tight end Mark Andrews looks to bounce back at home against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4 after a quiet showing in Brazil against the Dallas Cowboys last week. Andrews had his usual five targets but caught only three passes for 24 yards. While his target share remained at 25% and his 13 routes were the third-highest on the team, behind wide receivers Rashod Bateman (20) and Zay Flowers (15), he played just 47% of the snaps.
Admittedly, we have a very small sample size three weeks in, but Andrews has, for the first time in his nine seasons in the league, a negative catch rate over expected (-2.7%), his shortest air yards per target (6.6), and has seen just one red zone target this year.
For comparison, Andrews had three red zone targets and a consistent 80% snap share after the first three weeks in the 2025 season. With rookie tight ends Matthew Hibner and Josh Cuevas each running eight routes against the Cowboys in Week 3, the tight end room is getting crowded for the aging Mark Andrews, who is likely to see fewer opportunities as the season progresses. For their part, the Tennessee Titans defense has been stingy against tight ends through three weeks, allowing just an average of 5.5 fantasy points to the position, the third-best in the NFL.
As RotoBaller's 12th-ranked tight end this week, the veteran has been mostly relegated to the dreaded "touchdown-dependent TE1" category that plagues the position in fantasy football. In this tough matchup, managers in shallow leagues may have better options, but deep-league managers are hoping Andrews finds the end zone in Week 4 to pay off.
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders in Week 4. Kelce appears to have found the fountain of youth because he's turned back the clock to start the 2026 season. The veteran tight end has looked explosive in open space and has now scored in back-to-back games. Kelce will look to continue his hot streak as the Chiefs face a tough Raiders defense.
The Raiders will have the advantage of playing at home, but Kelce and the Chiefs are still road favorites. Kelce may not earn 10+ targets every week anymore, but he's still Patrick Mahomes' most trusted target when the field shrinks, giving him a good chance to score every week. Kelce is ranked TE5 in our RotoBaller Week 4 PPR rankings, making him a solid TE1 this week. Fantasy managers should continue starting Kelce every week until he shows signs of regression.
Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland looks to get his season going in Sunday's home matchup with the New York Jets. After three games, the second-year pro is bordering on outright bust territory following a summer when his breakout was heralded as a foregone conclusion.
Loveland isn't all to blame, as the Week 1 game script and an injury to starting quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) in Week 2 have contributed to his lagging production. However, the concern of too many mouths to feed in Chicago's attack has rung true. Moreover, the emergence of veteran Kalif Raymond is an unaccounted-for added variable that's made the passing pie smaller than initially anticipated.
Loveland still looks like an integral part of the Bears' offense. For now, though, fantasy managers can't bank on the lofty preseason expectations once held for the 22-year-old. Owners can treat Loveland as a fringy TE1 and, officially, RotoBaller's PPR TE11 for the game against New York.
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle put any lingering concerns about his Achilles to bed with his performance in Week 3. Kittle played a big role in the 49ers' 36-30 win, catching six of his seven targets for 82 receiving yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns. Kittle is the most likely candidate to emerge as Brock Purdy's primary target in Week 4, as injuries to San Francisco's wide receiver corps keep piling up. Mike Evans (ribs) is listed as questionable and is considered a game-time decision. His absence would afford Kittle a few extra looks.
In Week 4, San Francisco hosts the Denver Broncos, who gave up eight receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown to the Rams' Tyler Higbee last week. In PPR scoring, Kittle is the overall TE5 and is averaging 15.8 fantasy points per game. He is projected as a top-five tight end for Week 4, and should be in starting lineups this weekend.
