When will Drake London return and play? Will Drake London be back again this season? Read the latest Drake London injury updates and return date for Week 9 (2025).

Drake London Injury Update
London was targeted 15 times in the Falcons' first game of the season against the Buccaneers, but he couldn't have a standout performance due to suffering a shoulder injury.
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said all the players who were injured last week, such as quarterback Michael Penix Jr., wide receiver Drake London and defensive lineman Zach Harrison, will be day-to-day this week.
He also said edge rusher Jalon Walker and cornerback Billy…

He decided to tough it out and play through the discomfort, and after consecutive huge games against the Commanders and Bills, it seemed like his injury troubles were behind him.
However, he surprisingly popped up on the team's Week 8 injury report with an unrelated hip injury and was ruled out as a game-time decision. Fortunately for Falcons fans, they won't have to wait long to see their WR1 back on the field again.
Per Falcons reporter Terrin Waack, HC Raheem Morris described London's status as "day-to-day" moving forward, which means he could have a good chance of suiting up against the Patriots next week.
Drake London Fantasy Football Outlook
London isn't the only injured Falcons player who is "day-to-day" and has a good chance of returning in Week 9. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is also looking to return following a knee injury, which caused him to miss their Week 8 matchup.

London has been putting up great numbers with Penix as his quarterback. Since Penix became the Falcons' starting QB, London has averaged 91.2 yards per game and has accumulated 164.1 PPR points, making him the WR7 in that span.
He's only played nine games with Penix, which means he averages 18.2 PPR points per game with the former Washington Huskies QB, which makes him the WR5 on a PPG basis (among WRs with at least four games played in that span).
Despite the Falcons' offensive inconsistencies, London's chemistry with Penix makes him a must-start fantasy WR1. They have a very favorable three-game stretch from Week 11 to 13, as they'll take on the Panthers (a crucial revenge game), Saints, and Jets.
Winning these three games will be necessary if the Falcons want to make the postseason, and London will likely play a huge part if his team can come out of this stretch with a 3-0 record.
