5 Fantasy Football Bold Predictions - Frank Ammirante's Week 13 Picks

Cam Ward - Fantasy Football Rankings, Superflex QB Rankings

Frank Ammirante's six fantasy football bold predictions for Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season. Expert predictions for Cam Ward, Ashton Jeanty, Justin Jefferson, Courtland Sutton, and Stefon Diggs.

I hope that you all had an amazing Thanksgiving, filled with good food and strong performances from your fantasy football teams. It's done now, so we have to look ahead to the Sunday slate.

That's where my Week 12 bold predictions can help out. I'm looking for borderline starters or struggling stars who are in good spots for spike weeks. Last week, I had a pair of strong calls by hyping up Michael Wilson and Darnell Mooney. Let's try to build off that result.

With that in mind, find out why I'm high on Cam Ward, Ashton Jeanty, Justin Jefferson, Courtland Sutton, and Stefon Diggs in my Week 13 bold predictions.

Cam Ward Puts Up 250+ Total Yards

Ward is coming off the best game of his career, putting up 23 fantasy points against an elite Seahawks defense. We're starting to see the rookie quarterback use his legs more, as he's racked up 30+ rushing yards in back-to-back games.

I like Ward as a sneaky streamer at home against the Jaguars. Jacksonville is a pass-funnel defense, since they're so good at stopping the run, that it forces teams to the air. The Jags are allowing the fifth-most pass attempts, while limiting opposing running backs to only 3.69 yards per carry, which ranks third in the NFL.

Despite an extremely underwhelming rookie season, you'd be surprised to learn that Ward has comfortably gotten to 250+ total yards in four of his last seven games. In a matchup against the Jags, expect to see more dropbacks from Ward as he tries to carry this Titans offense.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Titans pull off the upset vs Jacksonville here. It's a division game, plus the Jags have been much worse on the road, including close wins against the Cardinals and Raiders.

The best spot to fire up Ward is in DFS tournaments, where he provides salary relief. If you're in a tough spot at quarterback (especially in SuperFlex), either dealing with Daniel Jones or Brock Purdy in tough matchups, I'd go bold with Ward instead.

Ashton Jeanty Puts Up 100+ Total Yards

Jeanty has had a disappointing rookie season, as he's been held back by the worst offensive line in the NFL. The rookie running back came into the year touted as an elite pure runner, but he hasn't been able to find any room, averaging only 3.6 yards per carry.

However, there are a couple of factors that make me optimistic about Jeanty's outlook in Week 13 against the Chargers.

For one, Jeanty has made a major impact in the passing game, especially lately. The former Boise State standout has caught 14-of-16 targets for 85 yards in his last two games. It's clear that the Raiders are trying to find ways to put the ball in the hands of their first-round pick. Due to struggles on the ground, they're checking it down to him quite often.

With Chip Kelly fired as the Raiders' offensive coordinator, I'm betting that we see a rejuvenated Raiders offense against their division rivals, with Jeanty as the focal point.

While 100+ total yards isn't too high a bar, it would still be a huge game, beyond Jeanty's current projections. If you have Jeanty, you should be excited this week. I also like riding with him in DFS tournaments.

Justin Jefferson Puts Up 100+ Receiving Yards

Jefferson has had a tough time lately, combining for only 19 catches for 193 yards in his last four games. However, that was with J.J. McCarthy under center. The first-year starter looked like the worst quarterback in the NFL, and it wasn't close. It's clear that he needs more time on the bench.

With McCarthy dealing with a concussion, the Vikings will start undrafted rookie Max Brosmer this week. Yes, the words "undrafted rookie" don't inspire confidence, especially against an elite Seahawks defense, but anyone is better than McCarthy at this point.

What if Brosmer does a better job locking onto his top target? We've seen Kevin O'Connell make it work with lesser names in the past, such as Nick Mullens and Joshua Dobbs. Why can't Brosmer provide 200+ yards, giving us enough production for Jefferson to make an impact?

It's definitely in the realm of possibilities, especially after we just saw Ward put up 23 fantasy points against this defense. I know times have been rough for Jefferson lately. I benched him for Wilson last week, but I'm putting "Jettas" back into my lineup this time around. Don't miss out on this bounce-back opportunity.

Courtland Sutton Puts Up 100+ Receiving Yards

Sutton has been a disappointing veteran this year, especially lately. We've seen the big-bodied wideout limited to only 12 catches in his last four games. During this stretch, Sutton has 30 yards or fewer in two games.

However, this looks like the ideal get-right spot for Sutton with the Broncos coming off their bye. For one, it's a great matchup against the Commanders, who rank 30th in fantasy points per game against wideouts this season.

Additionally, it's a terrific coverage matchup for Sutton. The Commanders play man coverage at the ninth-highest rate in the NFL. Sutton's numbers vs man include a 3.25 yards per route run and 0.29 targets per route run. For context, those numbers drop to 1.63 yards per route run and 0.19 targets per route run against zone.

Sutton is too good a wideout to have such a diminished role for so many games in a row, so we'll bet on him to have a big game against the Commanders, who have gotten picked apart by opposing passing games all year long.

Stefon Diggs Puts Up 100+ Receiving Yards

Diggs was disappointing in a great matchup against the Bengals, limited to only two catches for 20 yards. However, Diggs had been quite consistent before that, including 105 yards vs the Jets and three touchdowns in his previous three games.

Like Sutton, Diggs has a terrific coverage matchup this week. The Giants play man coverage at the second-highest rate in the NFL. Diggs has a 0.29 targets per route run and 2.68 yards per route run against man. These are much higher rates than what he's put up vs zone: 0.25 targets per route run and 2.31 yards per route run.

The Patriots have a 27-point implied total in this game, which is the fourth-highest on the slate. I wouldn't be shocked to see Drake Maye have a field day in this game, with Diggs leading the charge.

With that in mind, don't be discouraged by Diggs' poor performance against the Bengals. After all, that's an improving defense that just caused issues for Zay Flowers and the Ravens on Thanksgiving.

Bet on a bounce-back from Diggs in this spot, with the veteran eclipsing the century mark once again.
