Rashaad Penny Injury Update

Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (leg) is set to undergo further testing on Monday to determine whether surgery is needed. The 26-year-old suffered a fractured fibula during Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints. The expectation is that Penny is going to be sidelined for the rest of the season.

The injury means Kenneth Walker III and DeeJay Dallas will need to pick up the slack in the backfield. In Week 5, Walker finished with 88 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. He's going to be one of the hottest pickups on the waiver wire this week with Penny likely lost for the year.

James Conner Injury Update

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (ribs) was forced to exit early during Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It's a shame because Conner was playing well with 55 yards on nine carries before leaving the game. However, the team wanted to be cautious because Conner does have a history of chest injuries.

Luckily, this injury appears to be minor, but Conner could still sit out in Week 6. Darrell Williams (knee) is also sidelined, so Eno Benjamin could be looking at a significant workload coming up.

Damien Harris Injury Update

New England Patriots running back Damien Harris (hamstring) left Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions early. With New England facing one of the worst rushing defenses in football, Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for over 150 yards.

If Harris has to miss any time moving forward, Stevenson will operate as the clear lead back as a must-start option.

Tyreek Hill Injury Update

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (foot) was seen wearing a walking boot after the Week 5 loss to the New York Jets. Despite the ailment, the speedster still finished with a game-high seven catches to total 47 yards. Hill, who was riding a questionable tag heading into Sunday because of a quadriceps injury, is now dealing with another issue.

While the ailment isn't considered serious, the team may take a cautious approach and keep him out for the Week 6 clash with the Minnesota Vikings.

Pat Freiermuth Injury Update

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) was ruled out for the remainder of Week 5 versus the Buffalo Bills. He finished the day with just two catches for 12 yards before exiting.

The 23-year-old will have one week to get healthy before next Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his absence, Zach Gentry and Connor Heyward should see more snaps.

Chris Olave Injury Update

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) was knocked out of the Week 5 win against the Seattle Seahawks. He suffered the injury while making an impressive touchdown catch.

The flashy rookie finished the day with four catches, 54 yards, and the score. If he clears concussion protocol prior to Week 6, he should continue to be viewed as a low-end WR2 in fantasy football.

Teddy Bridgewater Injury Update

Miami Dolphins quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (elbow, head) was taken to the locker room for further evaluation after a big hit and ruled out for the remainder of the game against the New York Jets. With Tua Tagovailoa (head) inactive and Bridgewater sidelined, Miami turned to third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson.

Fantasy managers in Superflex/two-QB leagues might want to take a flyer on Thompson as both Tagovailoa and Bridgewater are both in danger of missing Week 6. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will likely see a decrease in production if Thompson starts.
