Another week of MLB baseball is in the books, which means it's time for another update to our rest-of-season rankings. Below is another edition of Nick Mariano's updated 2025 fantasy baseball rankings and tiers for roto leagues (5x5 mixed leagues) heading into Week 5.

Use these rest-of-season roto league rankings to identify risers and fallers from preseason rankings and identify potential buy and sell candidates moving forward.

Top 300 Fantasy Baseball Rankings Updates

Baseball continues to give and take away, with injuries to players such as Ezequiel Tovar (hip), A.J. Puk (elbow), Luis Arraez (head), Corey Seager (hamstring), and Spencer Strider (hamstring). But we returned key faces in Wyatt Langford, Zach Neto, and Masyn Winn, with others like Pablo Lopez, Tobias Myers, and Francisco Alvarez right around the corner. On top of that, several bullpens are in flux.

We also saw plenty of prospect promotions steal the headlines, with Nick Kurtz, Chandler Simpson, Caleb Durbin, Luke Keaschall, and others joining the big-league party. We hope you've gotten a piece of the action as the waiver wire heats up and trade proposals fly across leagues. Whatever your needs are, let's navigate the early-season waters together and get a leg up on the competition.

Hopefully, the rankings below will give you some perspective on our thoughts on these topics and help you assess the strength of your rosters going forward. Let's see where players such as Pete Crow-Armstrong, Bryson Stott, Austin Hays, Hunter Brown, Max Meyer, and Cade Smith are listed in our early rest of-season rankings.

Rest-Of-Season Fantasy Baseball Rankings (Week 5 Update)

These rankings will be updated every week throughout the season, so some of these situations are very fluid. It's not time to overreact, and we may not be ready to elevate hot-starting players into the elite yet, either, but it's certainly a good checkpoint for the long fantasy season.

As always, be sure to stay on top of all the MLB news with our running list of 24x7 fantasy baseball news and injuries. And if you don't yet have our free mobile app, be sure to download it and stay on top of all the MLB news and analysis with our free push notification alerts.

Nick Mariano's ranks are updated weekly. They are for 5x5 category mixed roto leagues and will be updated regularly on our main fantasy baseball rankings dashboard all season long. Be sure to read our daily fantasy baseball analysis articles as well.
