ANALYSIS: What do we do about Taysom Hill? The Saints continue to use him in a myriad of ways, which makes for an intriguing question about how fantasy football managers should be using the tight end.
On Sunday against the Colts, Hill had just one target, catching a 14-yard pass. That was a big shift from the last two weeks when he combined for 13 targets in games against the Texans and Jaguars.
Despite the lack of targets, Hill still had a huge game though, because he had nine carries for 63 yards and two touchdowns That makes three rushing scores in the past two games for Hill.
The Saints aren't using Hill as a passer this season like they have in past years, as he's attempted just five passes this year. However, the team is still trying to get the ball into Hill's hands in a variety of ways. Sometimes, it's with him at tight end. Other times, it's with Hill shifted into the backfield.
Whatever way they're getting him the football, the fact that Hill has 50-plus scrimmage yards in three straight games is worth taking note of for fantasy football. Hill's floor remains low because there's always the danger that he just won't get enough touches in any particular game, but the variety of ways he gets touches gives him a higher ceiling than any other TE2 option.
