Should I Start Rome Odunze for Fantasy Football?
Odunze appeared to be Caleb Williams' favorite target in the passing game last week. He saw a team-high nine targets while catching six of those targets for 37 yards and one touchdown. Williams connected with the second-year wideout in the fourth quarter on a one-yard score to give him 15.7 PPR fantasy points on the day.
Caleb to Rome. That’s a dart.

As a result, Odunze could be worth starting in most 12-team leagues this weekend. The Bears are 6.5-point underdogs in this game, which means the team could lean on the pass more than usual in this contest. That should benefit his role in the receiving game against a Lions secondary that allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts last season.
Odunze will come in as a low-end WR3/solid flex play in this NFC North divisional matchup against the Lions. RotoBaller has him ranked as the WR37 in half-PPR formats this weekend.
Should I Start Chris Olave for Fantasy Football?
It was pretty obvious last week that Spencer Rattler trusts Olave in this New Orleans offense. The 25-year-old saw a team-high 13 targets, had a 31.7% target share, and ran a route on 38 of Rattler's 51 dropbacks in Week 1. That helped him finish with 12.4 PPR fantasy points against the Cardinals.
Now, Olave won't have the highest fantasy ceiling each week. This Saints offense is expected to be one of the worst in the NFL this season, and that definitely hurts his overall fantasy value. Nonetheless, the Ohio State product should continue to be a high-floor WR3 fantasy option for managers in Week 2.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba just went off against this San Francisco secondary last week, meaning Olave could be in for a solid fantasy day. He is ranked as the WR36 in half-PPR formats at RotoBaller for this week.
Should I Start Jameson Williams For Fantasy Football?
Last week's matchup against the Packers was never an easy one for Williams. The Packers allowed the second-fewest yards per reception to wide receivers in 2024, and the Green Bay secondary held him in check a week ago. The 24-year-old only caught four passes for 23 yards in the contest. With a WR57 fantasy finish in that game, some fantasy managers might stay away from him this weekend.

However, Williams will be a solid WR3 play in most leagues this weekend in a much better matchup against the Bears. The explosive playmaker torched Chicago's secondary for 143 yards and one touchdown the last time he played them, and we should expect this Detroit offense to be much better than it was a week ago.
Therefore, Williams should be started in most fantasy cases this weekend. He is ranked as the WR34 in half-PPR formats at RotoBaller in Week 2.
