BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 35% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Odds are you either love or hate Robby Anderson with no middle ground to those feelings. Makes sense, all things considered, given his swings in usage, level of play, and fantasy upside while being part of a nonsensical team in Carolina. But all things considered, it is not that you can find yourself a bona fide WR1/WR2 playing 90% of the offensive snaps weekly on almost two of every three Yahoo WW out there this deep into the season.
I know. Robby has had exactly two top-24 finishes at the WR position this season. That's not precisely top-tier production, but Robby is also coming off his best game of the year while getting looks from both Cam Newton (benched) and P.J. Walker (backup). Anderson went off last Sunday for a season-high 21.4 PPR score to the tune of a sweet 12-7-84-1 receiving line. Those were, in fact, all season-high marks in every statistical category for him, be it receptions, targets, yards, and season-tying touchdowns (four on the year now, never more than one in a single game).
Rostering the Panthers receivers is definitely not the safest way to score you fantasy points and victories, for sure, but Anderson finally broke for more than 14 PPR points this year and he did with a top-5 WR explosion (pending MNF). He has had a fair amount of duds (four games of 2.5 or fewer PPR points) but he's also been good for an average of 10.2 FPPG in the other 10 games he's played to date. Forget about Anderson as a real WR1/WR2 player, but definitely roster and start him in deeper leagues at the WR3/Flex spot if you can still find him available in your league's WW.
