Single-Stat NFL Totals

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.

Mac Jones over 230.5 passing yards -  I am going out on a limb a bit with this as Jones has only gone over this total once in his previous five games, but he will be facing a bad Falcons' secondary in this one and a capable Falcons' offense that could keep him throwing the ball. Over the previous four weeks, the Falcons have allowed quarterbacks to average nearly 250 passing yards per game, which is ranked eighth-worst in the league. Keep an eye on this prop as we get closer to Thursday night as it may drop and we end up with an even better number.

Hunter Henry over 29.5 receiving yards - Henry has gone over this total in two of his previous three games and has seen 14 targets over his previous four games. The Falcons have struggled against tight ends lately as they are allowing over six receptions per game and over 55 yards per game to the position over the previous four weeks.

Matt Ryan under 265.5 passing yards - While Ryan has gone over this total in three of his previous five games, he will have his hands full against this Patriots' secondary. Over the previous four weeks, they have allowed an average of just 181 passing yards per game to the quarterback position, which is ranked fourth-best in the league. They recently held Justin Herbert and the Chargers' high-powered offense to just 223 yards passing, so Ryan could certainly struggle here as he did in recent weeks against the Cowboys and Panthers. In those two games, he combined for a total of just 263 passing yards.

Kyle Pitts under 59.5 receiving yards - Pitts has been solid for the Falcons in 2021 and he has gone over this total in four of his previous five games, but the Patriots should be his toughest matchup yet. Over the previous four weeks, they have allowed an average of just three receptions per game to the tight end position, which is ranked third-best in the league. They have also allowed an average of just 34 receiving yards per game to tight ends over that same span.

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
