PrizePicks MLB DFS Prop Picks - Today's Over/Under Props for Tuesday, September 12, 2023

Cal Quantrill fantasy baseball rankings pitchers draft sleepers MLB injury news

Today's PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Tuesday, September 12, 2023, by Kipp Heisterman. Use his MLB over/under props recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Tuesday, September 12, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks. PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.

On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Joe Ryan more than 6.5 strikeouts

Joe Ryan has struck out at least seven batters in seven of his previous nine starts. He will be up against the Tampa Bay Rays, who are posting the ninth-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of 24.5%. He will also be at home where he has posted an 11.8 K/9 mark, which is nearly two strikeouts higher than his mark on the road.

Cal Quantrill less than 4.0 strikeouts

Cal Qunatrill has only managed to eclipse this total in two of his 15 starts in 2023. He will be up against the San Francisco Giants, who are posting just a 20.6% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks 10th-best in baseball over that span. They are also posting a 104 wRC+ mark and a walk rate near 8%, both of which could cause some problems for Qunatrill as he has allowed five or more earned runs in four of his previous six starts spanning back to May 24th.

Lance Lynn less than 5.0 strikeouts

Lance Lynn has struck out six or more batters in just three of his previous eight starts. He has also been lit up recently by allowing 15 earned runs across his last 15 innings pitched. The matchup against the Padres tonight is tough as they are posting the sixth-lowest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of just 19.4% while also posting a wRC+ mark of 115.
