Week 12 PPR Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key options in Week 12, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether to start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 40
Week 12 Running Back PPR Rankings: 20

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren has been excellent as of late, finishing as a top-15 fantasy option in three consecutive weeks. He'll look to keep rolling in a Week 12 divisional about with the Cincinnati Bengals. Although Cincinnati allows the second-most rushing yards per contest, there is some uncertainty surrounding the Steelers' offense, with offensive coordinator Matt Canada fired earlier this week.

That being said, Warren has been the most impressive back in Pittsburgh this season and should continue to receive plenty of opportunities. Whether or not the offense as a whole improves, fantasy managers can trust Warren as a low-end RB2 or high-end flex play in this matchup

Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 26
Week 12 Running Back PPR Rankings: 14

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon hasn't had a Pro Bowl season. He's averaged just 4.0 yards per carry and still hasn't eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground. However, the former Oklahoma Sooner has been a serviceable fantasy option, considering he'll enter the Week 12 matchup with the Steelers riding a four-game scoring streak.

Tee Higgins (hamstring) remains out, and with the inexperienced Jake Browning under center, Mixon could see plenty of work on Sunday, making him at least a flex option.

Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 43
Week 12 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 21

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins could be a strong flex play in Week 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Collins didn't do much in the first meeting between these two teams, as he was held to just two catches for 24 yards. However, the 24-year-old wideout should be more involved this time around.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud has taken his game up a notch since then, and Collins is coming off a solid seven-catch-for-65-yard performance in Week 11. In a game that could feature a lot of points, the third-year playmaker has a ton of fantasy potential this weekend.

Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 58
Week 12 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 27

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (elbow, knee) was limited in practice all week but has been removed from the final injury report on Friday and will play in Week 12 on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Godwin may not be 100 percent with a few nagging injuries, but he will be fine to play and should remain in starting fantasy lineups.

The 27-year-old has taken a back seat to teammate Mike Evans this year. He has just one touchdown through 10 games and only one 100-yard performance, which came back in Week 4 in a win over the New Orleans Saints. Still, despite a drop in production from the last couple of years, Godwin does have at least five catches in seven of his 10 games and has gone over 50 yards receiving in seven contests.

Marquise Brown, WR, Arizona Cardinals
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 73
Week 12 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 36

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) missed a second consecutive practice on Friday. Although his status has been trending in the wrong direction, he is officially listed as questionable to play against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. With Michael Wilson (shoulder) already ruled out, Arizona cannot afford to lose Brown for this divisional clash.

Nevertheless, fantasy managers must prepare a backup plan in the event that the 26-year-old isn't able to play. We should receive a confirmation on his status 90 minutes before kickoff Sunday.

Week 12 PPR Rankings for Fantasy Football: Top-375

Rankings are updated until kick-off. Be sure to bookmark our weekly PPR rankings, Half-PPR rankings, Standard rankings

Note that quarterbacks, defenses, and kickers are all grouped separately toward the bottom. Each of those positions is ranked on its own. This helps to compare running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends for FLEX spots (without QB, DEF, and K mixed in).
