Yoshinobu Yamamoto Dominant In Second Start
9 months agoAfter getting roughed up in his first start during the Seoul Series against the Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto bounced back nicely in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Cardinals. Yamamoto came out firing, striking out the first batter of the game on three pitches, proceeded to strike out the side, and ended up tossing five innings of scoreless baseball. He allowed just two hits in the outing, didn't walk a batter, and struck out five. Now that's what the Dodgers expected when they signed the 25-year-old in the offseason. His next start lines up with the Chicago Cubs in Wrigley.
