Free-agent starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto is expected to meet with both the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers this upcoming week. The 25-year-old KBO star was scheduled to meet with Yankees managing general partner Hal Steinbrenner, general manager Brian Cashman, manager Aaron Boone, and pitching coach Matt Blake on Monday in Los Angeles. He is also expected to meet with the Dodgers later this week and met with the San Francisco Giants this past Sunday. While both the Yankees and Dodgers have made impactful moves already this offseason, both are reportedly still in a position to make a competitive offer to possibly the top remaining free-agent starter. The Mets and Red Sox are two other teams who have been involved in conversations with Yamamoto, who will start the season as a higher-end fantasy option regardless of where he signs.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
