Woody Marks Will be Active on Sunday
Houston Texans rookie running back Woody Marks (calf) popped up on the Week 9 injury report with a calf injury, but he returned to a full practice on Friday and has been cleared to face the visiting Denver Broncos this Sunday in Week 9. Marks was limited by his calf injury on Thursday, but it's obviously nothing serious enough to keep him from suiting up this weekend. The 24-year-old has seen his usage increase out of Houston's backfield the last two weeks, and he has a total of 146 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 28 touches in the last two games. Veteran Nick Chubb is still the team's preferred option on early downs, but Marks has had a raised floor in point-per-reception leagues of late due to his involvement in the passing game out of the backfield. Fantasy managers should consider him an acceptable RB3/flex play in PPR leagues this weekend against Denver.
