William Byron Has Struggled At Bristol
5 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver William Byron is set to run his fifth Bristol race in the Cup Series on Sunday. So far, his results at the track haven't been so good. Byron has a best finish of 16th, as well as two finishes below 20th place. He's shown qualifying speed at the track, but that hasn't translated into results. Byron has run as high as second at this track before and was fifth at the midpoint last year, but it's hard to trust him for DFS purposes when he's never spent more than 52 percent of a Bristol race in the top 15 and has only one lead-lap finish at the track. He starts 13th on Sunday and has some upside, but could easily fall back in the early going.
