New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. is entering his second season in the National Football League. He got off to a slow start in his inaugural year, amassing 12 carries for 29 yards in the Giants' first four contests. However, after Devin Singletary suffered a groin injury and missed two games, Tracy was the No. 1 back for the remainder of the 2024 campaign. Granted, Singletary remained involved upon his return. Yet, Tracy had considerably more snaps. In total, he finished with 839 yards on 192 touches and 38 receptions for 284 yards while totaling six trips to the end zone. Will Tracy hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark by the end of his sophomore year? Some believe he can. On the other hand, others aren't so convinced. Tracy currently holds the No. 23 and No. 25 spots in RotoBaller's 2025 fantasy football rankings (PPR and standard formats). Although it appears it's his job to lose, he's seemingly not a lock to remain atop the depth chart, considering Singletary and rookie Cam Skattebo are in the equation. It's also important to remember the Giants have one of the worst offensive lines in the league, which won't help anyone. Pairing those factors with a challenging schedule isn't something fantasy managers will feel comfortable with. Tracy will probably get selected somewhere in the sixth or seventh rounds in fantasy drafts. Still, managers who add him to their roster should be sure to add an insurance policy, specifically, Singletary and/or Skattebo.--Dennis Clausen
