Tyrell Williams Out To Prove He’s More Than A Deep Threat
Tyrell Williams is known as one of the league’s top deep threats in football. This season, the 27-year-old is out to prove he’s capable of running short and intermediate routes as he thinks he’s one of the more “underrated” route runners in the league. Williams finished last season 11th in yards per reception (15.9) and holds a career 16.3 mark all in the Chargers organization. It’ll be interesting to see if the Raiders will utilize Williams’ talent differently in this offense with Antonio Brown lining up on the other side of the field and eating up targets. It would undoubtedly help boost Williams’ fantasy value if he became a more rounded receiver rather than a boom or bust player reliant on the big play. He remains a late-round flier in fantasy drafts, but is capable of producing WR3 value if he can show more consistency.
