Twins Likely To Move Nelson Cruz?
Nelson Cruz, who is 41 years old and eligible to be a free agent after this season. Cruz hasn't slowed down at his age, batting .310/.382/.584 with 18 home runs and 45 RBI in 70 games. But with his status as a full-time DH, it eliminates a move to the National League, and an additional 10 American League teams are either not in contention or have a full-time DH already. The Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays, Oakland Athletics and Seattle Mariners are five teams that could make a play for him. Cruz continues to hit no matter what ballpark he's in, but it's fun to envision him playing for a contender such as the White Sox, Rays or Blue Jays.
