Trey Palmer Won't Be Trustworthy For Week 1
Trey Palmer has found himself in an interesting spot to open the season. Fellow wide receiver Russell Gage (knee) is out for the season, which opened up the No. 3 role on the roster. During the preseason, Palmer played extremely well and earned himself that third spot at wideout. It looks nice on paper, but Palmer probably won't have a ton of action right away. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are going to be the primary receivers on this team. The Bucs do have a favorable matchup against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1. Although, it's uncertain if the Bucs will be a pass-heavy team with newcomer Baker Mayfield under center. That being said, Palmer is more of a stash option right now. He could very well step into a bigger role especially if Evans or Godwin goes down with an injury. For now, Palmer can remain on the bench in most formats.
