Trey Mancini Stuck In Frigid Slump
7 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini continued to be mired in a slump on Saturday, going 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts. The 26-year-old is hitting a lowly .127 with just two extra-base hits in his last 15 games. After breaking out as a solid fantasy option in 2017, Mancini has been disappointing for fantasy owners this season, posting a mere .229 batting average with a .307 on-base percentage and a .369 slugging percentage. While he should still be owned in dynasty leagues, Mancini can be dropped in all but deep single-season leagues and fantasy owners cannot afford to start him in their lineups until he can turn things around.
