Trevor Bauer Put On Administrative Leave
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Trevor Bauer has been placed on administrative leave while the league continues its investigation into abuse allegations made against him. Bauer will be on administrative leave for seven days after allegations surfaced this week that he sexually assaulted a woman earlier this year. Bauer's attorney issued a statement shortly thereafter, denying the claims and saying that Bauer and the woman engaged in consensual acts. The Dodgers were prepared to let the 30-year-old make his next start on Sunday against the Washington Nationals, but that won't be happening now. This is obviously an ongoing fluid and sensitive situation, but fantasy managers of the 2020 National League Cy Young winner should be prepared for a potential lengthy absence.
