Trevor Bauer Not Expected To Return Later This Week
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he doesn't expect starting pitcher Trevor Bauer to be activated later this week when his seven-day administrative leave could end. "I don't see that happening," Roberts said. Major League Baseball can extend Bauer's administrative leave, but only if the Players Association agrees to it. Last year's National League Cy Young Award winner if on leave after sexual-assault allegations came out against him last week. It's anyone's guess as to when this legal process will conclude, so Bauer's fantasy managers need to prepare for a potential extended absence this summer. The right-hander has been as advertised with a 2.59 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 137 punchouts in 107 2/3 innings over his 17 starts in his first year with the Dodgers.
