Tory Horton 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Seahawks Rookie is a Better Dynasty Stash Than Redraft Investment
Tory Horton was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Horton was a popular sleeper in the NFL Draft. He fell due to concerns about the competition level he faced, as well as how his game would translate to the NFL. Unfortunately, he missed the majority of the 2024 season with a knee injury, but he was highly productive in 2023, where he posted a 96-1136-8 line in 12 games. Horton has also posted strong per-route metrics over the last two years. Per PFF, Horton posted a 3.45 yards per route run (YPRR) in 2024 as well as a 2.74 YPRR in 2023. Both marks are well above the 2.0 threshold gamers typically want to see from incoming rookies. Horton will be buried behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to begin the 2025 season. As things stand now, Horton is a better dynasty football investment than a redraft asset. However, Kupp has struggled with injuries and declining play over the last few years. If Kupp misses time, it could open the door to immediate playing time for Horton.
