Tony Gonsolin Moved To 60-Day Injured List
1 year agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers moved right-hander Tony Gonsolin (forearm) to the 60-day injured list on Sunday and claimed pitcher Tyson Miller off waivers from the New York Mets in a corresponding move. Gonsolin will officially missed the rest of the 2023 season unless the Dodgers make a deep postseason run. Even then, the 29-year-old probably won't make a return and could need surgery on his right arm after undergoing an MRI exam over the weekend. Depending on what kind of surgery Gonsolin might need, most, if not all, of his 2024 season could be compromised as well. It was a tough year for him, going 8-5 with a career-worst 4.98 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 82 strikeouts in 103 innings over 20 starts for LA.
