Tommy Edman in Tuesday's Lineup
Tommy Edman (ankle) is starting at third base and batting seventh in Tuesday's clash against the hosting Cincinnati Reds and left-hander Nick Lodolo at Great American Ball Park. Edman injured his right ankle last weekend and was held out of Monday's series opener in Cincy as a precaution. However, the 30-year-old has avoided a trip to the injured list for now and should continue seeing everyday work at the hot corner with Max Muncy (knee) still on the IL. The switch-hitter hasn't done much for fantasy managers in his first full season with the Dodgers, slashing .225/.280/.389 with a below-average .669 OPS, 11 homers, 42 RBI, 41 runs and three steals in 293 at-bats. Edman has been ice-cold in July, too, going 9-for-60 (.150) with a homer, four RBI, 14 K's and five walks in 17 games played.
