Tim Anderson Suspended Six Games
1 year agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson has been suspended six games by Major League Baseball for his part in Saturday night's brawl with the Cleveland Guardians and third baseman Jose Ramirez, according to sources. Anderson is starting on Monday against the New York Yankees while appealing his suspension, so he won't have to sit out just yet after taking a day off on Sunday in the series finale against Cleveland. The 30-year-old instigated the fight with Ramirez on Saturday that led to him being dropped by a right hook from Ramirez. Fantasy managers need to plan for an eventual absence for Anderson this week. It's been a tough season for Anderson all around, as he has just one home run and 19 RBI while hitting .244 (86-for-353) with 11 steals and 38 runs scored.
