1 year agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson had the day off on Sunday, but he's likely facing a multi-game suspension from the league for his fight with Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez on Saturday night. MLB didn't announce any discipline for the players on Sunday, but the teams expect to hear from the league on Monday and they are bracing for the players to miss an extended period. Ramirez and Anderson threw punches on Saturday at second base in the sixth inning, with Anderson getting knocked to the ground by a right hook from Ramirez that landed on Anderson's jaw. In addition to Anderson having an extremely disappointing 2023 season, fantasy managers now need to prepare for him missing extended time due to suspension.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
