Three Quarterbacks Could Go In Day 2 Of Draft
4 years agoStanford's Davis Mills, Florida's Kyle Trask and Texas A&M's Kellen Mond could all be selected in Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday night on Day 2 of this year's NFL draft. A handful of teams have done "extra legwork" on some or all of the potential Day 2 quarterbacks. The list of teams includes the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The New England Patriots also "spent a long time" meeting with Mills virtually. The Bears continue to look for a franchise signal-caller, while the Vikings could look for an eventual replacement for Kirk Cousins. The Saints will have a battle between Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill in training camp. And the Bucs and Patriots could be looking for replacements for Tom Brady and Cam Newton, respectively. Mills is NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah's top-rated QB of the second tier at the position.
