Terry McLaurin Expected At Minicamp Next Week
3 years agoWashington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera expects wide receiver Terry McLaurin to be at mandatory minicamp next week "because it's mandatory." McLaurin has missed all of the team's voluntary organized team activities while negotiating a long-term contract extension. The 26-year-old former third-rounder is expected to get something done with the team, but in the meantime, he's missing out on valuable practice in order to gain chemistry with new quarterback Carson Wentz, who has taken a liking to rookie first-rounder Jahan Dotson in McLaurin's absence. McLaurin has back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with sub-optimal QB play and will be a solid target as a WR2 in fantasy in his fourth NFL season.
