2 years agoTampa Bay Lightning right wing Tanner Jeannot hurt his right leg in Thursday's clash with the Islanders. He was forced to exit the game in the second period after awkwardly falling on his right leg following a battle along the boards with Islanders defenseman Scott Mayfield. Lightning head coach Jon Cooper was quoted after the game saying Jeannot's injury is "worrisome". In an additional blow, Tampa Bay also lost Pat Maroon to an upper-body injury Thursday, so the recent back-to-back Stanley Cup champions find themselves in a bit of trouble ahead of the 2023 postseason.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
