10 months agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs (ribs) is a long shot to play in Week 9 against the Lions, according to sources. Diggs was hurt late in the Week 8 game but said this week that he would play against Detroit. That is now unlikely to happen. Anyone that was planning on using Diggs needs to formulate a backup plan for Sunday. Adam Thielen, Laquon Treadwell and tight end Kyle Rudolph should see more targets, and the Vikings could lean more on the ground game with Dalvin Cook (hamstring) expected to return for the first time in over a month. Aldrick Robinson could also be used in three-receiver sets with Diggs out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
