Steelers DST a Shaky Option Against Buffalo
The Pittsburgh Steelers logged one sack, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a defensive touchdown while surrendering 31 points to the Chicago Bears in a Week 12 loss. Though the Steelers produced several splash plays, including a strip-sack by T.J. Watt that Nick Herbig recovered in Chicago's end zone, the unit struggled to keep the Bears from scoring. They'll look to rebound at home against the Buffalo Bills in Week 13. Pittsburgh will get linebacker Alex Highsmith (pectoral) back after a two-game absence, but will be without rookie defensive tackle Derrick Harmon (knee). While the Bills' offense has been inconsistent, it has also shown a high ceiling, having scored over 40 points three times this season. That said, it's difficult to have faith in the Steelers DST this week. Fantasy managers should look for alternative options unless they're in need of a big-play-dependent option with upside.
