New York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov left Saturday's 5-2 win over Vegas late with an undisclosed ailment. He was having a great night with 35 saves on 37 shots, but Ilya Sorokin took over the crease for the final few minutes of the game. Islanders head coach Lane Lambert didn't have an update on Varlamov's condition after the game. The team has a very strong goalie tandem, but Sorokin has struggled lately, so being without Varlamov would be far from ideal. He has dropped only three games in regulation this season and carries an 8-3-1 record. Meanwhile, Sorokin has lost five consecutive starts for the first time in his NHL career and is 10-10-0 for the campaign.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
