Colorado Avalanche defenseman Sean Walker sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's entertaining 7-4 victory over Nashville. He was limited to 11:15 of ice time in the contest, finishing with three shots, one block, three hits, and a minus-one rating. Walker made his 10th appearance for the Avalanche since his trade from Philadelphia at the beginning of the month. He's made an impact at both ends of the ice with four points (three goals, one assist), 14 blocks, and 15 hits. But the 29-year-old might have to sit out some action now. Walker's absence would open the door for Caleb Jones to rejoin the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
